We are searching for an electrical engineering manager to join our Corsair Design engineering team and help grow our solution-driven business model.

List of Responsibilities

• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to our junior and intermediate engineering team members
• Initiating, managing and supervising electrical engineering projects
• Providing assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities
• Acting as the electrical engineering lead on specific single and multi-disciplinary projects from preliminary design through construction and project close-out
• Preparing deliverables to meet financial targets and schedule
• Supervising the work of engineers, designers and CAD Technicians
• Reviewing and completing design calculations and construction documents in accordance with applicable codes, standards and regulations
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients to define their needs and to provide technical and management assistance
• Finding and developing opportunities, and assisting in business development efforts
• Preparing engineering fee proposals, project estimates, design reports and other technical documents as required

Technical and Industry Experience

• Minimum 15 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer as well as Project Management experience
• Electrical Engineering Degree
• A strong level of technical experience in electrical design, and control systems
• Proven ability to communicate with colleagues and clients
• Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Corsair Design and our customers
• A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields
